Background: The farm is siutated against the Bottelary Hills outsdie Stellenbosch and the altitude of the vineyards varies between 170 and 370 meters above sea level.

The grapes came from 19 to 21-year-old low trellised and bush vine vineyards planted in decomposed granite soil
One block was hand harvested in the early hours of March 5, 2014. The grapes were picked at 23.5 degree Balling, destemmed and the juice was in contact with the skins for four hours. A combination of free run and press juice was inoculated with specific yeast strains. Fermentation took place in French Oak. Maturation took place on the lees in the barrels for five months. After five months the barrels were blended and the wine was stailized and bottled.
Tasting notes: Light green in color with a complex nose of bicuits, tropicsl fruit and a hint of honey. On the palate the wine is elegant yet complex with citrus flavors, honey and butterscotch. This wine will compliment chicken salads and creamy pastas.
