Tasting Notes:

Composition: 45% Merlot | 40% Cabernet Sauvignon | 5% Malbec | 5% Petit Verdot | 5% Cabernet Franc

Appellation: Wine of origin – Stellenbosch, South Africa

Harvest Date: Mid-March 2011

Tasting Notes: This is our superlative blend of the five Bordeaux cultivars. Powerful and dark with ample black currant and mulberry flavors, complemented by finely integrated oak and subtle cedar tones. The mouth feel is plum and fleshy with quiet, earthy notes in the background. This ageworthy wine has firm but fine tannins, perfect balance and great length.

Technical Specifications: TA 5.8g/L | Alc 14.5% | VA 0.5g/L | RS 2.5g/L

Vinification: All wines were cold-soaked for 48 hours and inoculated with selected yeast strains for alcoholic fermentation. Wines were aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
